DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS

Mathematics is a branch of knowledge which is used in every walk of life. It gives life to all branches of both natural and applied sciences especially in learning of any branch of engineering. In this regard the department was established in the year 1999.

The department gives a strong foundation of mathematics to the engineering students of all branches. It has qualified and experienced faculty. The department assists its sister engineering branches in teaching discrete Mathematical structures, Graph theory and combinatorics. The department is actively doing research work in the fields of Fluid Dynamics, Graph Theory etc.

Special classes and tutorial classes are very frequently conducted to refresh the minds of the students in the subject which has lead to the boosting of morale in the students and achievement of academic excellence.

The Department has been successful in achieving greater percentages of passes in mathematics, Discrete Mathematical structure, Graph theory and combinatorics.
