With the aim of shaping the career of its students in various fields, VIT's mandate is to provide trained intelligent and capable minds to the industry. The Placement Cell provides employment opportunities to graduating students through campus recruitment in many reputed companies. It identifies and develops students potential constantly refining the learning processes to match the functional requirements of the corporate world. The placement cell maintains student dossiers, which is widely circulated among the corporates, based on specifically identified candidate requirements.

 The Placement Cell is headed by an experienced placement officer, Mr. N. Sundara Murthy who has extensive experience in both industry and academics. Reputed companies visit the campus and select students for excellent engineering positions. Our placement record is consistently impressive. In 2007-2008, 139 students were selected in campus recruitment. Campus recruitment for the batch of 2010 is in progress and 55 students have so far been placed in reputed companies with salaries ranging from Rs.22,000 per month to Rs.40,000 per month.

Vemana IT imparts soft-skills and technical training programs by experts drawn from reputed companies. In addition, technical experts are invited on a re4gular basis from industries and R&D centers, to update students on latest technological developments.
